Knysna Hope is a registered Non-Profit Organization (NPO 170-161), created by church planting missionaries in Knysna, South Africa. Based on the principle of pursuing the peace and welfare of our city (Jeremiah 29), Knysna Hope seeks to nurture redemptive relationships through cooperative upliftment initiatives in this culturally and economically diverse community. In addition to church-planting, we focus on education (theological, music, and general), youth engagement, and skills development.
We have our own initiatives, and also assist other community organizations and ministries with their programs. This co-operation enables each of us to use our gifts, talents, experience and resources as we share the Gospel, make disciples, train leaders, and encourage church planting in Knysna and beyond.
Our church planting collective supports an online community radio station, a music academy and the desire to facilitate a convention centre in our town. Such a facility may house a radio station and other media facilities, as well as providing space for large events, concerts, worship services, and outreach conventions.
